Alice in Wonderland

I'm getting excited! I am a huge Alice fan. Four days to go....
In case you need to refresh your memory about the story, here's the first-ever film version of Lewis Carroll's classic, created just 8 years after the birth of the cinema; at 12 minutes in length, it was the longest running movie of it's time and produced in England. For it's time, the special effects are ingenious and imaginative! ....especially when you consider that Johnny Depp wouldn't be born for another 60 years:

Tim Burton's version is just "slightly" different from Carroll's book. Special effects look amazing! Can't wait to see it in Imax:
BTW: Imax is a Canadian invention

  1. I want to see this movie as well simply because I love Tim Burton and Mr Depp in this kind of role.

Some of the reviews aren't' so hot though which is surprising.

Thanks for the earlier clip and letting us know Imax is Canadian :-)]

  3. Okay, I am normally disturbed by distorted, exaggerated characters and almost have a phobia of clowns but you've convinced me. I officially now want to see it. Not even sure when it comes out and the only movie in theaters we've seen in recent years has been Harry Potter. Like Deborah, we usually see them on DVD. But maybe an exception for this one. .. .

  4. I really cannot wait for this movie- I love Tim Burton and I love Johnny Depp. Don't know if I will be able to convince my hubby to go- but maybe I will go alone. The movie from 1903 is very cool!
