A while back I complained about wanting to buy a pair of the Doll Cobbler's hip wader for my Fishing Hut but the eBay seller wouldn't ship to Canada. This week an envelope arrived containing waders that Chelle made for me. She & I have from time to time exchanged surprise packages but this definitely tops it! What a lovely, generous & kind thing to do. We met on a UK forum that long away gave up the ghost but have managed to keep in touch. Someday I'd like to go to Britain, so we can meet for real.
....and tonight when I opened my email, I discovered that I won this
from Donna who makes the most adorable bears and in her other spare time LOL is completing Rik Pierce's Fair Rosamund's Bower which contains the door surround and window with the gargoyle pillars that I'm using for my castle.
What a small world it is!
